How do I convert MP4 to MP3 on a Mac?
Install ConvertRight.APP, right-click an MP4 file in Finder, then choose “Extract audio as MP3.” The MP3 is saved beside the original video.
Can I extract audio from a video without uploading it?
Yes. MP4, MOV, M4V, MKV, WebM and AVI video-to-audio conversion runs locally on your Mac. Your media is never uploaded for conversion.
Can I convert WAV to MP3 on Mac?
Yes. Right-click the WAV file, choose “Convert audio as MP3,” and a separate MP3 file appears beside the preserved original.
Which Macs are supported?
macOS 13 or later on Apple Silicon (M-series) Macs. Intel Macs are not supported by this download.
How does activation work?
After five free conversions, purchase from the app on the Mac you want to use. Successful payment activates that installation. The license covers one Mac and cannot be shared across devices. Contact support if you need help after reinstalling.
Can I use the audio converter offline?
Conversion happens locally. Purchase and activation require internet, and the app checks your license periodically. The current version checks after seven days and allows temporary offline use for up to fourteen days from the last successful check.
What if something doesn’t work?
